ABP Wellness Project is designed around an authentic, culturally appropriate, and relevant model, forming the core platform from which program offerings can be tailored. The Project provides educational awareness of chronic disease prevention and self-management strategies, improves health literacy, promotes peer support services, establishes strategic partnerships, and builds sustainable community-focused programs. A unique feature of ABP Project Wellness is that it intentionally encourages and supports participants as they take ownership of their health, lifestyle behaviors, and health management, leading to our empowerment goal.
